This trio performs the improvised music as well as Szilard Mezei’s compositions. Malina and Csik are the leading jazz musicians of the younger generation in Serbia Montenegro, members of Boris Kovaè LADABA Orchest, the group from Piranha Records catalogue, for many years. Mezei (born in Senta, Serbia Montenegro) is a nationwide known and acclaimed composer and improviser, experienced in long collaborations with the likes as Tim Hodgkinson, Gyorgyi Szabados, a.o. The idea to attend studies of composition at Academy Of Music in Belgrade, came from the teacher who heard him playing in a concert, and in theatre. Afterwards, the teacher asked him to become his student. Mezei has participated at numerous festivals in the most of the Eastern European countries and has written the music for several theatre plays (he is the winner of the Sterija Award for the theatre music).

Inspiriert von der Schönheit und Weite des Universums, startet das Quartett Alpha Trianguli seine Reise in die Unendlichkeit der Klangwelten.
